Top Watermelon Festival Sponsor
A very, very special thanks to All Nations Church and their ongoing and generous support of the Watermelon Festival.
All Nations Church has graciously donated the use of its campus for the Sunland-Tujunga Lions Watermelon Festival, opening its doors to the entire community.
Three members of the Church have worked with the Festival Committee for two months at weekly meetings at the Church, sharing an extraordinary amount of expertise, guidance and help. Their work behind the scenes has been indispensable in making this year's Watermelon Festival a great success! The Lions extend their deepest appreciation to Deacon Jay Kwon, Consultant Michael Carpenter, and Secretary Jina Roe for their gifts of time and talent.
Because of limited parking, the Church is also providing its shuttle vans and drivers for Saturday and Sunday, making stops at K-Mart and Sunland Park, at no charge. We are all very grateful for this generous donation.
The Lions offer their gratitude to all of the employees and members of the Church who were inconvenienced or had a heavier work load because of the Festival.
The Lions also thank the neighbors of All Nations Church, who accepted the intrusion into their weekend activities with grace and patience.
The heartfelt thanks of the Sunland-Tujunga Lions is much too large to fit in this limited space!
