	5:00 p.m.		The 49th Annual Lions Watermelon Festival Opens

	5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.		Live entertainment on main stage



	9:00 p.m.		Drawing for third prize (Winner does not need to be present)



	10:30 p.m.		Entertainment ends; Marketplace closes

	10:45 p.m.		Carnival, game booths and Food Court close for the day

	11:00 p.m.		Festival closes for the day

	12:00 p.m.		Festival Opens

	12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.		Live entertainment on main stage

	12:30 p.m.		Watermelon Carving Demonstration in the Melon Shed

	2:00 p.m.		Watermelon Eating Contest in the Melon Shed Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Sunland-Tujunga





	4:00 p.m.		Greased Melon Relay Race in the Melon Shed Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Sunland-Tujunga

	7:00 p.m.		Winners of the 4th of July Parade Floats contest announced by S-T Rotary Club

	8:45 p.m.		Drawing for Kid's Bicycle donated by Kemsley Shows Winner must be present to win

	9:00 p.m.		Drawing for second prize (Winner does not need to be present)

	10:30 p.m.		Marketplace closes

	11:00 p.m.		Entertainment ends

	11:00 p.m.		Carnival, game booths, and food booths close for the day

	11:30 p.m.		Festival Closed for the day

			Carnival, game booths, Marketplace, International Food Court open

	2:00 p.m.		Watermelon Eating Contest in the Melon Shed Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Sunland-Tujunga
